SBD and MDF Join Hands to Improve Drinking Water Quality in Lower Sindh
On January 18, 2025, Sustainable Business Development (SBD) and the Management & Development Foundation (MDF) officially signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) at MDF’s headquarters. This collaboration falls under SBD’s JARR Project, which is dedicated to testing drinking water quality and identifying potential health risks associated with contaminated water sources.
As part of this partnership, SBD has provided MDF with 30 Portable Microbiology Laboratory (PML) testing kits—a cutting-edge tool designed for rapid and user-friendly water quality assessment. Together, SBD and MDF will conduct extensive water testing in Lower Sindh, focusing on hand pump water sources, while also introducing communities to PML kits for independent water monitoring.
This initiative aims to enhance water safety awareness, empower local communities with accessible testing solutions, and drive data-driven improvements in water quality. Through this collaborative effort, SBD and MDF are committed to making clean drinking water more accessible and ensuring the well-being of communities across Sindh.
